Addendum: Pirates ball previously listed has been withdrawn due to having all clubhouse signatures. Munson and Dent deemed CH on Yankees ball. Reds ball is all good.
Nice pairing of World Series Champion team signed baseballs including with two very popular teams both on and off the field from the mid to late 1970s. Starting chronologically with the "Big Red Machine" we have a 1975 Cincinnati Reds team ball with 27 signatures in mostly 7-8/10 bold blue ballpoint with some in faded black. Hall of Famers Johnny Bench (bold) Joe Morgan (very faded) Tony Perez (bold) and manager Sparky Anderson (SS) are all present as are Pete Rose (faded) Foster Nolan Griffey etc. The ONL (Feeney) baseball is slightly scuffed and mostly solid white. The Reds beat the Red Sox in a 7-game Fall Classic thriller despite Carlton Fisk's heroics in Game 6 at Fenway.
The second ball in better condition with no scuffing holds 23 blue and black ballpoint autographs of the 1978 New York Yankees. Done on an official 1978 World Series (Bowie Kuhn) baseball celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Fall Classic most autographs fall in the 5-7 range. Highlights are Hall of Famers Catfish Hunter Reggie Jackson (faded on OWS label) manager Bob Lemon (SS) and coach Yogi Berra along with Guidry Nettles Chambliss Randolph etc. Thurman Munson and Bucky Dent signatures deemed clubhouse by PSA.
