June 2 1978 Topps Chewing Gum Inc. contract signed by Hall of Fame shortstop Ossie Smith extending the term of his present contract for an additional two more seasons. If he was an active member of a Major League Baseball team between May 15 and August 15 he would be eligible for a $75 bonus. This contract would cover the next season when Smith's Rookie card would appear in the 1979 Topps Baseball Set. Smith has signed "Osborne E. Smith" in perfect 10/10 looking black ink.
