The Baseball Hall of Fame presented Ozzie with this brick from the original HOF building in Cooperstown nicely planting it in an elaborate 14-by-15-inch shadow display box that is made of red wood and designed in the shape of home plate. Inside the shadow box an 8-by-4-inch brick sits atop a shelf encased in green felt; below a plaque (also in the shape of home plate) denotes information about the Hall of Fame including the original dedication date of June 12 1939 a "Presented to" notation to Ozzie Smith and the inclusion of his induction year. A final graph notes that the brick came from the original building and was preserved during the renovation from 2002-2006 (with official HOF logo added). The entire presentation is essentially as-issued and problem free.
