Upon the occasion of Ozzie Smith's final swing around the National League in the summer of 1996 the Pittsburgh Pirates honored their longtime rival with a spectacular 20-inch crystal No. 1 that weighs in at more than 12 lbs. and looks for all the world like an ice sculpture from the grandest winter carnival imaginable. The crystal No. 1 sits atop an 11-by-5-inch wood base resting on a felt pad. The base of the No. 1 includes the engraving: Ozzie Smith The "One" and Only Thanks for the wizardry the Pittsburgh Pirates. The entire award is essentially as issued and problem free save only for a minor light impression on the edge of the wooden base presumably from when the crystal narrowly missed the mark upon being returned to the base.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
