As noted in a related lot with an etched-glass bowl few players in Major League Baseball history were as thoroughly linked to the All-Star Game as the 15-time All-Star Ozzie Smith so he not surprisingly accumulated an imposing array of All-Star game memorabilia. This is a truly elegant hand-decorated Pickard china bowl 9 3/4-inches in diameter and 5 inches deep with attractive gold-leaf trim across the top edge around the base and just below the 3 1/2-inch deep navy-blue band that encircles the bowl. A row of intricate baseballs encircles the inside rim of the bowl which appears to essentially as-issued and problem free.
