First let us start off by saying, this is one of the most unique Ty Cobb autographed pieces in existence. If one thinks of the legendary career of Ty Cobb, two things come to mind: his tremendous hitting and terrifying baserunning. While it is relatively easy to obtain signed photos of Cobb (but not ones that are not personalized) practicing one of those two skills which made him a star, this one-of-a-kind piece features both. The front of this 5 1/2” x 7” photo shows Cobb at the plate, his bat coiled and ready to swing, his steely gazed fixed on the pitcher. A beautiful “Ty Cobb” autograph complete with underscore flourish is placed beside his stocking feet. The reverse of the piece shows Cobb feet flying as he rounds a base in one of his most famous images known. Again, Cobb’s flawless signature appears beside his likeness. Graded Authentic by PSA we believe both signatures represent an 8/9 grading. This piece has been encapsulated in such a way that both sides of this extraordinary piece may be easily viewed. An exceptional dual signed piece that captures the two essential qualities that made Ty Cobb one of the greatest all around ballplayers to ever play the game. This is certainly one of the rarest pieces of Ty Cobb memorabilia you will ever encounter.
