Though Cobb’s historic career hits tally of 4,191 was ultimately eclipsed, many batting records remain in the Georgia Peach’s sole possession to this day, most notably his .366 career batting average. He was the part of the first Hall of Fame enshrinement and the sport’s most monumental metric of offensive greatness.
This one-of-a-kind photo gives a fan's eye view of the Dead Ball Era's most recognizable player. The offering presents very well with great contrast and clarity. Minor soiling and wear do little to distract from the fine piece. Dimensions are 4" X 5". Blank back. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
