Panoramic crystal clear photo from the November 26 1927 college football game between the University of Southern California and Notre Dame held at Soldiers Field in Chicago. Notre Dame would edge USC 7-6 before a crowd estimated at 120000 making it probably the largest football crowd ever assembled to watch. Photo taken from high in one end zone shows both teams on the field during what looks to a time out. "Southern California vs. Notre Dame Soldiers Field Chicago Ill. November 26t 1927." printed at white in lower left. Small "National Photo & Adv. Chicago Ill. " printed in white at lower right. Panorama appears to be in great condition. Framed to a size of 10" by 27 3/4". A pair of holes drilled in the frame at both sides to hold the photo in place at the museum.Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
