Presented is a remarkable set consisting of the official program and original ticket stub from the legendary November 25, 1953 England vs. Hungary international at Empire Stadium Wembley—the "Match of the Century"—with the ticket stub graded PSA EX-MT 6, Pop 1, with none graded higher.
The program cover features the national flags of England and Hungary with bold red lettering identifying the "Football Association International – England v Hungary – Wednesday November 25th 1953 – Kick-Off 2.15 p.m. – Empire Stadium Wembley – Official Programme One Shilling." Interior pages include the full match timetable, pre-match musical program by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force, prior England Wembley results dating to 1945, and period advertising including Radio Times and Bovril. The program presents with expected toning and light wear to the card stock covers.
The PSA EX-MT 6 graded ticket stub is a yellow-bordered card reading "South Grand Stand – Entrance J49 – Row 13 – Seat 26 – England v. Hungary – Wednesday, November 25th, 1953 – Price 15/–."
