Nellie Fox was one of the finest second basemen of his generation, a two-time All-Star selection and 1959 American League MVP who anchored the Chicago White Sox infield for over a decade before his 1997 Hall of Fame induction. This OAL baseball bears Fox's bold signature along with that of Red Wilson, the veteran catcher who played for the Tigers and Yankees in the 1950s.

 

The leather shows gentle age patina consistent with its vintage provenance, and the primary signatures are cleanly applied with good legibility. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a Letter of Authenticity. A nice multi-signed vintage American League ball anchored by a Hall of Famer whose scarcity in the autograph market makes any authentic signed piece a welcome addition to a collection.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
