Mostly original wire photo lot of 21 different. Sizes vary but most are 7 x 9 to 8 x 10 or larger. Most are in great condition. Included are:
Babe Ruth (7) - Babe Ruth/Gil Hodges(1951) Ruth w/2 men in his apartment(late 1940's) Babe Ruth/Joe Cronin/Bill McKechnie(all in Boston Braves/Red Sox uniforms - 1930's?) Ruth coaching war relief game(1943) Babe Ruth/Ty Cobb/Tris Speaker(1947 Old Timers Game) Ruth with man in suit(year unknown).
Lou Gehrig (3) - Lou Gehrig/Mickey Mantle(1967) two of Gehrig batting(1930's?). These might be type 2/3 photos.
Joe DiMaggio (4) - DiMaggio portrait photo(1950) DiMaggio leaving batter's box after base hit(1947) DiMaggio practicing at 1st base during Spring training(1950) DiMaggio and Tom Tresh catching ball against fence during Spring training(1963).
Miscellaneous New York Yankees (7) - Yogi Berra/Whitey Ford/Bob Turley/Art Ditmar/Tex Clevenger Bob Turley pitching(2 different) Bill Skowron batting Art Ditmar holding contract with Yankee executive Bill Skowron/Johnny Kucks/Bob Turley Joe Cronin in suit wearing Yankee cap throwing out 1st ball for 1940 season.
