With a sterling 19-year career in the majors as one of the top defensive catchers of the 1970's and 1980's Bob Boone anchored a number of top pitching staffs ending up with four All-Star selections and seven Gold Gloves. This is a striking Bob Boone gamer from the mid-1980's during his tenure with the Angels a gray knit pullover with "Angels" arched across the chest in red-on-blue double tackle twill (complete with a gold-colored halo encircling the tip of the upper-case "A." The jersey features "8" sewn to the back and left front in like fashion. A "California" state team logo patch adorns the left sleeve and blue-and-red striped stretch-ribbed cotton lines the V-neck and sleeve endings. Situated on the front tail is a W. A. Goodman & Sons manufacturer's label denoting Size 44. The standout shirt shows game use and is essentially problem free revealing some light staining on the front and the back right armpit area and only the barest whispers of any fraying of the blue stitching around the team name player name or numbers front and back.
