Baseballs coveted Triple Crown is a sought-after feat thats rarely achieved. Any player who finishes the season ranked No. 1 in his league in three batting categories (average home runs and runs batted in) earns the distinguished prize but before Detroits Miguel Cabrera turned the trick in 2012 the last man to do it was Boston Carl Yastrzemski in 1967. Four of those phenomenal Triple Crown winners are captured here adorning a color lithograph that measures 25 wide by 20 high. The artist behind the memorable Triple Crown lithograph is Ron Lewis who has positioned drawings of Frank Robinson Ted Williams Mickey Mantle and Carl Yastrzemski all swinging through at the plate in front of a large gold crown that includes the moniker: Triple Crown Winners. Each of the aforementioned foursome have signed the lithograph in various thicknesses of black marker and have included their Triple Crown seasons beneath their signatures: Robinson (1966) Williams (42 - 47) Mantle (1956) and Yastrzemski (1967). The print is also signed by the artist in blue marker in the bottom right corner. Some of the player signatures have faded over time but all remain legible.
