There are 26 players in Major League Baseball history that have reached Baseballs prestigious 500 home run plateau. Eleven of the players who competed primarily during the 50s 60s and 70s are captured here via this beautifully composed limited edition (#855/1000) color lithograph created by renowned sports artist Ron Lewis. Showing the 11 sluggers posing on the infield dirt at the old Yankee Stadium Lewis has tastefully positioned each of the batters posing with his particular weapon of choice. The impressive grouping includes from left Ted Williams Frank Robinson Harmon Killebrew Reggie Jackson Mickey Mantle Willie Mays Hank Aaron Mike Schmidt Ernie Banks Eddie Mathews and Willie McCovey. Each of the players has signed the bottom of the lithograph in various degrees of blue markers. Lewis himself has also signed the lithograph which comes framed and matted and measures 46 wide by 31 high. A tastefully done lithograph signed by 11 of the best sluggers in baseball history.
