Mickey Mantle was one of the most fabled New York Yankees players ever. The owner of a .298 lifetime batting average and 536 home runs Mantle was the straw that stirred the drink in the Bronx long before Reggie Jackson arrived. A three-time American League MVP in 1956 57 and 62 Mantle led the Bronx Bombers to 12 A.L. pennants and seven World Series titles. This lot includes a beautiful OAL (Brown) baseball that Mantle has signed in blue ink across the sweet spot and added his uniform number (NO. 7) just below his signature. The autograph rates a strong 9/10 in our book. A superb single-signed baseball from one of the all-time greats!
