There are 500 Home Run Club signed bats and then there is the 500 Home Run Club bat offered here. The difference between this bat and those many others circulating in the hobby is its unique provenance. This particular 500 Home Run Club bat once resided in Mickey Mantle's personal collection and was originally introduced to the hobby at the 2003 sale of Mantle's estate held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The 35" Rawlings blue-ring "Big Stick" bat has been signed in blue Sharpie by the following 11 members of that elite fraternity: Mickey Mantle Ted Williams Eddie Mathews Willie Mays Reggie Jackson Harmon Killebrew Willie McCovey Frank Robinson Ernie Banks Mike Schmidt and Hank Aaron. All of the signatures grade "10" and the bat is in Near Mint condition. The bat is not only accompanied by a COA signed by Mantle's widow and two sons it also comes with a LOA signed by Mantle himself.
