Ringside ticket stub to the World Heavyweight Championship fight between Champion Jack Johnson and challenger Philadelphia Jack O'Brien held May 19 1909 at the National Athletic Club in Philadelphia PA. The controversial Johnson retained his title with a ragged 6 round draw against the smaller former light heavyweight Champion O'Brien. Printed on front is "Right A E 1 RING CHAIR National A. C. Retain This Check May 19 1909". 1/2" tear at top center of ticket. Front has blue ink smudging at top with some creasing. Back has Johnson's name and some numbers written in pencil.
