Hall of Famer Tris Speaker managed the original Newark Bears in 1929 and 1930. He led the team to a 7th place finish with an 81-85 record in 1929. In his capacity as Bears manager in 1929 Speaker executed and signed this 4-1/4"x6" player release document for player Charles Ems. Speaker's black fountain pen signature rates 9 out of 10. Document shows vertical and horizontal fold lines otherwise EX condition. Includes a full PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity.
