Awesome 1931 U. S. Tennis Association Sterling Silver with bronze finish Golden Jubilee Medal given to International Tennis Hall of Fame member Mary K. Browne. Brown was the first American female professional tennis player a World No. 1 amateur tennis player and an outstanding amateur golfer. 3 " in diameter Sterling Silver with bronze finish medal has a raised image of a headless winged victory above a pair of crossed tennis rackets surrounded by "U. S. LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION GOLDEN JUBILEE 1881 - 1931" on one side. Other features "WINNER OF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MISS MARY K. BROWNE". Side of medal stamped "Robbins CO. ATTLEBORO STERLING". Medal weight 188 grams. Beautiful looking medal!
