Circa 1930's Wilson signature model match-used tennis racquet from Hall of Fame member Ellsworth Vines. The leading player of the 1930's Vines was ranked the World No. 1 player 4 times - 1932 1935 1936 and 1937. Vines won the U.S. Championship in 1931 and '32 as well as the 1932 Wimbledon title in the amateur ranks. A remarkably versatile player he was able to win five Pro Slam Titles on three different surfaces. Vines was an incredible athlete retiring from tennis at age 28 and late becoming a professional golfer. Portrait image of Vines and his autograph decal in perfect condition. Handle displays excellent wear with the printed Vines Autograph on the side somewhat faded. Several of the strings are broken. Great match used racket from one of the finest tennis players in history.
