MacGregor game used basketball from the March 4 1950 contest between the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins in which 238 points were scored to set a new NCAA record. Ball has been signed by 12 USC players and others. They are: Bob Boyd Bud Doty Robert Kolf Allan Lamont Norman Lamoreaux Tom Raich Don Underwood Joe White Richard Davies Bob Morton Jerry Pease and Ed Hookstratten. Signatures all a matching 9-10/10 black ink. In addition 4 names are printed on the ball in the same black ink: Sam Barry Stan Christie Frank Starnes and Byron Van Alstyne. Ball itself in pretty nice condition but could use a little air.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.
