Maple Leaf gardens was the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1931 to 1999. During that span the Leafs won the Stanley Cup 11 times. Presented here is a restored single seat has been repainted in butterscotch yellow. The seat back is a solid piece of wood with a stenciled number "4" in black at the top. Although restored there is still signs of wear with some paint chipping. The seat is a cushion mounted to a solid piece of wood. The seat measures 30' high and 20" wide and is secured to a solid wood base and is fully functional. On the wood base is a black and silver plaque with a depiction of the arena and the inscriptions "1931-1999" "Maple Leaf Gardens" and "Memories & Dreams". The serial number is 38-020.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
