Features here is a super rare collection of official game footballs dating from seven different professional football leagues operating in North America and Europe dating back to the early 1960's. Really the only significant league not included in this group is the Canadian Football League. They are:
1. Wilson Official National Football League game ball stamped with Commissioner Pete Rozelle (1960-89).
2. Spalding Official American Football League game ball stamped with Commissioner/President Milt Woodard (1966-70).
3. Wilson Official United States Football League game ball stamped with Commissioner Chet Simmons (1982-85).
4. Wilson Official "The King" Continental Football League game ball stamped with Commissioner Sal Rosen (1966-67).
5. Wilson Official "Ironman" Arena Football League game ball stamped with Founder/Commissioner Jim Foster (1985-92).
6. Wilson Official World League of American Football game ball stamped with Founder/Commissioner Tex Schramm (1989-90).
7. Spalding Official World Football League game ball stamped with Founder/Commissioner Gary Davidson (1973-74). This ball was actually used in the inaugural game on July 10 1974 between the Southern California Sun and The Hawaiians. Davidson's signature has been traced according to PSA/DNA.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
