This is a signed collection of Bill Russell items. The lot includes six copies of the May 10 1999 edition of Sports Illustrated with Russell on the cover with the headline “The Greatest Team Player on the Greatest Team Ever.” Russell has signed each cover in blue marker with his number “6” and “5x MVP.” The lot is completed with two copies of the program for the May 26 1999 Bill Russell Tribute at the Fleet Center. Russell has signed each cover in blue marker with his number “6” and “5x MVP.” Each copy has been preserved in plastic sleeves and display nicely.
