Nice group of four Orioles game-worn player pants from the 1984 and 1985 seasons all made by MacGregor Sand-Knit and stamped 'Designed and Tailored Exclusively for the Baltimore Orioles'. The pants are:1) Ken Singleton 1984 game worn road gray pants size 36 tagged '84 36Z 27 SINGLETON 29'. Fraying very visible on back at upper right quad almost certainly from sliding. Excellent wear; otherwise as issued in appropriate game-used condition. 1984 was the last of Singleton's 15 years in the Majors and 10th with the Orioles. The outfielder/DH was a 3-time All-Star and recipient of the Roberto Clemente Award in 1982. From 1977-1980 Ken batted .305 with an average of 26 HR and 99 RBI each season.

2) Tippy Martinez 1984 game worn road gray pants size 34 tagged '84 34 25 T.MARTINEZ 23'. Moderate wear; otherwise as issued in appropriate game-used condition. The relief pitcher served as the O's closer in 1984 and finished with a team-best 21 saves. Tippy spent 11 of his 14 MLB seasons with the Orioles going 52-40 with a 3.46 ERA and 105 saves for the O's and making the All-Star team in Baltimore's 1983 World Championship season.

3) Scott McGregor 1984 game worn road gray pants size 36 tagged '84 36Z 25½ MCGREGOR 16'. Dirt and sweat stains throughout particularly on rear left pocket. Heavy wear; otherwise as issued in appropriate game-used condition. McGregor spent his entire Big League career (1976-88) with the Orioles starting 305 games and compiling a respectable 138-108 record with a 3.99 ERA. He will go down in O's lore as the man who threw a complete game shutout in the 5th and deciding game of the 1983 World Series vs. Philadelphia.

4) Ken Gerhart 1985-86 game worn road gray pants size 34 tagged '85 35 27 GERHART 50'. There's a small burnt hole (cigarette maybe) to the right of the crotch. An outfielder whose Big League career (1986-88) was cut short by a pitch that struck him in the wrist Gerhart likely was issued these pants in 1985 and wore them in Spring Training and during the 1986 season. It was common in that era during which starters were issued 2 home and 2 road uniforms for the season for utility/reserve players to wear the previous year's pants. They show great wear; otherwise they come as issued in appropriate game-used condition.
