Lot of (3) rare vintage Negro league team photos plus souvenir "pennant" display includes the following:

1.  Vintage Negro League team photograph attributed to Louisville Black Colonels c.1930-40s. Black and white 8"x10" image pictures a uniformed team posed in an outdoor stadium setting. The team uniforms clearly resemble those of the Black Colonels as they are not similar to the Louisville Black Caps or Louisville White Sox of the same dating period. The photo has two corner creases and some light surface soiling with a small edge tear.  VG-EX condition.  Includes letter of provenance from the family of former Negro League player J. Leonard Mitchell.

2.  "Indies" Negro League baseball team photograph c.1930-40s. Original 7"x10" image pictures a uniformed team with "Indies" lettering across the front. Likely a pre-cursor team to the long running Indianapolis Clowns franchise (1943-50). VG-EX condition.  Includes letter of provenance from the family of former Negro League player J. Leonard Mitchell.

3.  Cincinnati/Indianapolis Clowns team photograph c.1943-44. Sepia tone 8"x10" image pictures the team in full uniform posed in three rows. Players include B.Haywood L. Bassett A.Radcliffe J.Canady King Tut and R.Davis. Photo quality is very fine with bold contrast remaining intact. EX/MT condition.  Includes letter of provenance from the family of former Negro League player J. Leonard Mitchell.

4.  Also included is a Negro Southern League Championship souvenir "pennant" display c.1940s. Pennant shaped window decal display was issued as a souvenir for the Southern League Championship between the Asheville Blues and the Nashville Cubs. The display measures 11" long with a few small tape repairs to the back of two creases. Very uncommon Negro League related souvenir piece sourced from the family of former Negro League player J. Leonard Mitchell. VG-EX condition.
