Tommy Giordano started his 66 year career in organized baseball with the Philadelphia Athletics organization in 1948. After toiling in the minors for a few years the 2nd baseman known as "T-Bone" was called up to the big club at the end of the 1953 season. He batted .175 and hit 2 home runs with 5 RBI in 40 at bats. He returned to the minors as a manager in the Braves and Athletics farm systems from 1956-59 before landing a scouting role with the Kansas City A's in 1960. He would later scout for the Cincinnati Reds Cleveland Indians Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers (where he also spent one season as a Pilots minor league manager in 1969) Montreal Expos and Baltimore Orioles where he served as Director of Scouting from 1976-1987. Since then he has held similar senior executive roles with the Indians and Texas Rangers. In 2007 Giordano was named East Coast Scout of the Year.

1) Philadelphia Athletics navy lightweight bullpen jacket with #24 sewn in left sleeve manufactured by Wilson. This vintage button-down beauty size 48 has two lower front pockets with leather openings. Double red-striped navy elastic cuffs adorn both sleeves with the same pattern at the collar and waist. The old Philadelphia 'A' logo is stitched in white across the heart. Giordano wore this jacket while playing in the Philadelphia A's organization from 1948-1954 (before the A's moved to Kansas City in 1955). Shows heavy wear including three separate tears on lower right front side. Aside from that it comes essentially as issued in problem-free condition with no alterations and all buttons completely intact.

2) Kansas City Athletics green lightweight bullpen jacket with #26 sewn in left sleeve manufactured by Wilson. This vintage button-down beauty (size unknown tag ripped off) has two lower front pockets with leather openings. Double white-striped green elastic cuffs adorn both sleeves with the same pattern at the collar and waist. The old Kansas City 'A' logo is stitched in white across the heart. Giordano wore this jacket while serving as player/manager in the Kansas City A's farm system in 1958 and 1959. Shows excellent wear including two small snag tears on back and a couple small holes on collar. Some color fading has occurred at extremities. All in all it comes essentially as issued in problem-free condition with no alterations and all buttons completely intact.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from Tom Giordano. Both jackets are part of his personal collection accumulated over 65 plus years in baseball.
