Presented is the rookie card of "Mr. October," one of the most charismatic sluggers the game has ever known: a 1969 Topps #260 Reggie Jackson Rookie, graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Long regarded as the most important baseball card of the late 1960s, it remains a cornerstone of any vintage rookie collection.

The obverse captures a 22-year-old Jackson in the green-and-gold of the Oakland Athletics, set against a clear blue sky with the "Athletics" team name in bold yellow lettering along the bottom. A purple circle at upper right reads "Reggie Jackson • Outfield." The reverse notes that his 29 home runs in 1968 were tops on the club and fourth-best in the American League. It also includes his complete major and minor league record and a cartoon highlighting his 17 triples in the Southern Association.

Jackson went on to hit 563 home runs, win the 1973 AL MVP and capture five World Series championships with Oakland and New York. His three-homer performance in Game 6 of the 1977 Fall Classic remains one of the most famous nights in baseball history. He entered the Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 1993.

This example offers bright color and a sharp, clear image. Its corners and edges show light wear, and its overall presentation is consistent with the VG-EX 4 grade.
