Lew Riggs played in the Majors from 1934 to 1942 mostly for the Cincinnati Reds . He then led to serve his country during WWII and returned to finish his career in 1946 for Brooklyn Dodgers. He was elected to the All-Star game in 1936 after wrapping 138 hits 20 doubles 12 triples and 6 Home Runs. This lot is for Lew Riggs MLB Lifetime Silver Pass. Embossed lettering on the NM sliver square pass reads “Major Leagues of Professional Baseball present this LIFETIME PASS to Lewis Riggs in appreciation of long and meritorious service” along with facsimile signatures of Harridge and Frick. Includes original leather carrying case.
