In an era of home run hitters, Ken Griffey Jr. stood out. The son of Red’s great Ken Sr., Junior burst into the majors in 1989, blessed with the kind of natural gift for the game seen once in a generation. His 630 homers put him at number seven on the career home runs list, and his 10 Gold Glove Awards for his defensive play are a testament to his legacy as a true baseball “natural.” And it’s those ten defensive awards that Griffey chose to highlight on this signed special edition Gold Glove baseball. Famed artist Charles Fazzino has used this Griffey single-signed ball as the canvas for a pop art masterpiece, illustrating The Kid at bat along with a seemingly never-ending list of his accomplishments, all in Fazzino’s trademark bright colors and 3-dimensional elements. Signed by the artist, the ball comes with LOAs from Fanatics, MLB Auth., and Museum Editions.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. If you would like your items shipped in a different method, such as UPS/FedEx Next Day or UPSFedEx 2-Day, you must contact our Post Sale Services Manager Veronica Rodriguez by emailing customerservice@scpauctions.com to discuss alternative shipping instructions. Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots.
