Offered here is the official program from the June 27, 1954 FIFA World Cup Quarterfinal at Stadion Wankdorf in Bern — the infamous Brazil vs. Hungary match known as the "Battle of Berne," one of the most violent and controversial matches in World Cup history. Hungary ultimately won 4-2 to advance to the semifinals, though the match ended in a post-game brawl in the tunnel involving players and officials from both sides.
The program is printed in German and carries the iconic 1954 tournament cover design: the stylized goalkeeper-and-ball illustration in blue and orange with "Coupe Jules Rimet" on the ball and "Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft 1954" running vertically along the left spine.
