PSA AUTHENTIC Full PROOF - NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION - PUNCHED/CANCELLED Ticket to the World Light Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Joey Maxim and challenger Sugar Ray Robinson held at Yankee Stadium in New York City on June 25 1952. The fight was delayed 2 days from the printed date of June 23 due to torrential thunderstorms. Robinson was ahead in the fight when the 103 °F temperature in the ring took its toll. At the end of the 13th round he collapsed and was unable to answer the bell for the next round suffering the only knockout of his career. Super clean ticket displays EX/EX+ with a pair of neatly punched holes at each side. One of only 2 PSA AUTHENTIC full tickets to this fight.
