PSA AUTHENTIC Full PROOF - NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION - PUNCHED/CANCELLED Ticket to the World Heavyweight Title Eliminator fight between undefeated Rocky Marciano(41-0) from Brockton Massachusetts and Harry Matthews(81-3-5) from Emmett Idaho held at Yankee Stadium in New York on July 28 1952. Matthews took a terrible beating from Marciano before being finally knocked out in the 2nd round leading one New York sports writer to comment "Matthews became ?the most thoroughly knocked-out boxer ever".? This victory gave Marciano the shot to fight for the title. Super clean crease free ticket presents EX-MT. Pair of punch/cancellation holes at both sides. One of only 2 PSA Authentic full tickets to this fight.
