Offered here is a game-worn France national team jersey worn by legendary Zinedine Zidane during France's 2-1 victory over England in the Euro 2004 group stage on June 13, 2004 — a match in which Zidane delivered one of the great individual performances in tournament history, scoring twice from the penalty spot in extra time to steal a dramatic late comeback over his Real Madrid teammate David Beckham's side.
The Adidas short-sleeve jersey is constructed in France's traditional royal blue with a red horizontal chest band carrying subtle tonal stripe detailing. The French federation cockerel crest with gold star is centered at the chest, flanked by the Adidas branding at the left and the number "10" applied in white below. The Adidas three stripes appear in white along the shoulders. A "France-Angleterre 13-06-2004" match badge is affixed at the chest. The right sleeve carries the "UEFA Fair Play" patch in yellow and the French tricolor flag. The left sleeve bears a "UEFA Euro 2004" competition patch. The Clima-Cool ventilation technology is visible at the lower front and rear panels. The reverse displays "ZIDANE" above his iconic number "10", both in white.
Based on Getty stock images, this appears to be his first half shirt based on the crest, patch, logo and number alignment. The unwashed shirt exhibits strong evidence of match use with sweat staining and a player-worn aroma.

Includes LOA from MEARS and letter of provenance from Marcos Teixeira, a longtime Technical Coordinator for the Brazil National Team and Real Madrid; he is also the nephew of former CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) President Ricardo Teixeira.
