Nice group of 6 National Baseball Hall of Fame Photo First Day Covers each with a different subject. They are: George Herman (Babe) Ruth 1915-1935 (Full body photo as coach with Brooklyn Dodgers) Tyrus Raymond Cobb 1904-1930 (Vintage Detroit Tiger posed photo) Walter Perry Johnson - Washington 1907-1927 (Posed full body photo holding bat as Cleveland Indian coach) Christy Mathewson 1900-1916 (Photo of his bust in the Baseball Hall of Fame) John J. McGraw (Photo of his Hall of Fame Plaque) Alexander Joy Cartwright Jr. (Photo of his Hall of Fame Plaque). Each also carries a brief paragraph about the pictures player. All carry Centennial of Baseball 3 cent stamps and have been neatly postmarked "JUNE 12 1939 9:00 A.M. COOPERSTOWN N.Y.". All are in great condition and have been stamped with the original owners name and address on the reverse.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
