Beautiful 1938 Pacific Coast League 14K Gold League First Place ring presented to pitcher Jack Salveson. The Los Angeles Angels finished in 1st place with the best record in 1937 and as was the custom were considered titlists until the end of the following season. Salveson pitched 15 years in the Pacific Coast League racking up 204 wins against 166 defeats from 1936 thru 1953. He is a member of the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame. Silver crown with "1938" sits above a 35 point real diamond with "L" and "A" on each side. Silver crossed bats are below. Appears the tip has come off the bat to the right side. Sides have the same flowing line design. Inside stamped "JOHN SALVESON" and "14K". Ring size 7 1/2. Weight 14 grams.
