Making his third appearance in an NBA All-Star Game Julius Erving led the East with 29 points and 8 rebounds but an 80-58 halftime lead proved insurmountable as the East fell to the Western Conference All-Star team by the score of 134-129 before a crowd of 31745 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit. The offered 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" oval gold charm was issued to Dr. J in commemoration of his participation in the 1979 All-Star Game. One side features the NBA logo in relief with "Dr. J" engraved near the top. The opposite side features a 1979 All-Star Game design with a uniquely designed "Dr. J" hanging clasp at the top.
Includes a signed LOA from Julius Erving.
