Making his third appearance in an NBA All-Star Game Julius Erving led the East with 29 points and 8 rebounds but an 80-58 halftime lead proved insurmountable as the East fell to the Western Conference All-Star team by the score of 134-129 before a crowd of 31745 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit. Ervings full uniform from that game is completely original and unaltered. Both the jersey and shorts feature matching East Side Sptg. Gds. Sand Knit manufacturers tagging. All lettering numbers and star adornments are screened on including the player name Erving on back. Both items show solid usage wear with areas of mild discoloration throughout. The team name East and number 6 on front show slight deterioration. Erving has signed the back of the jersey and the front of the shorts in black sharpie. This All-Star uniform is a style that is seldom seen for any player much less a player of Dr. Js stature. Furthermore its distinctive design and patriotic flair are reminiscent of Ervings ABA roots.
Includes a signed LOA from Julius Erving.
