The work of Arthur K. Miller is often referred to as "The Art of the Game." The supremely talented artist from coastal Maine has made a name for himself in the sports industry by depicting ballplayers from bygone eras in his own richly detailed inimitable style. Offered here is a lifelike and impressively large 29x39" (framed) oil on board painting of Josh Gibson Negro League catcher for the Pittsburgh Crawfords and the Homestead Grays. The painting is artist signed and signed by Miller again on the back along with the title Josh Gibson and date 1998. Beautifully presented in its original gallery frame.
