John Wooden demonstrated an early talent for basketball and quickly proved the impact he'd have on the game. Following a great high school career Wooden attended Purdue University in Lafayette where he became a three-time All-American guard and member of Purdue's 1932 national championship team. This 9-3/4 x 12-1/4 hardcover Purdue yearbook from 1930 has been signed twice by Wooden in black ballpoint. On opposing pages in the book's section on basketball activities Wooden placed his scriptings near a photo of him in ready stance and by a team photo showing Wooden seated near the center. Signatures reflect 9 strength and clarity. Book is about EX/MT in appearance. Includes a full LOA from PSA DNA.
