After retiring from the NBA following the 1980-81 season Boston Celtics great Jo Jo White continued to hone his shooting skills and even won a pair of Boston Celtics sponsored Celebrity Shootouts. This lot features two of the unique trophies White walked away with after winning the two competitions. The first award plaque was earned on Sept. 12 1998 and includes an oversized white New Balance left sneaker mounted on top of two wooden pedestals. The award measures 20 wide by 13 deep by 12 high. The second Celebrity Shootout award was secured on Sept. 20 2002. That version boasts a black-with-white-trim Nike sneaker (size 14.5) also mounted on a pair of wooden pedestals. The second award measures 15 wide by 13 deep and 12 high.
