Jo Jo White was a standout hoops star at the University of Kansas. He was named to the All-Big Eight team for three straight years (1967-69) and was a consensus NCAA All-America Second Team pick in both 1968 and 69. This lot features Whites selection as a Jayhawk All-time starting five from 1898 to 1987. The wooden plaque measures 11 wide by 13 high and the metal plaque measures 7 3/4 wide by 9 3/4 high and includes the names of the other players named to the starting five including: Wilt Chamberlain Clyde Lovellette Danny Manning and Darnell Valentine. The wood plaque has some minor dings and scratches and would be rated VG-EX. The metal plaque has half a dozen small scratches and would be rated in EX condition.
