1979 American League All-Star ring given to then Boston Red Sox 2nd baseman and now broadcaster Jerry Remy. Remy was named a reserve for the contest but was unable to play due to a knee injury suffered a couple of weeks earlier. The National League came away with a 7-6 win in the back and forth contest. Gold colored stone on top surrounded by BASEBALL ALL STAR and 5 CZ. One side has "1979" "Seattle Mariners" and their pitchfork logo in relief. The other has "REMY" "50" and "ALL STAR GAME" in raised characters. Inside of the silver colored band is stamped "Balfour Quasar Plus". Ring size 10.
