This Jackie Robinson single signed baseball is one of only two examples to receive a MINT 9 overall grade by PSA/DNA and is undoubtedly one of the finest Jackie singles ever seen in the marketplace. Jackie's radiant side-panel autograph "Best Wishes Jackie Robinson" appears perfectly framed within the horseshoe-shaped ribbon of the baseball's red seams. The snow-white surface of Hutch brand Little Leaguer baseball accentuates the vibrant ink produced by Jackie's pen. Accompanying the ball is its original Hutch box (GD missing top) in which it was stored and to which credit is largely due for its remarkable state of preservation.
PSA/DNA has deemed the autograph to be MINT 9. The ball itself has been graded NM-MT 8 with a .5 addition added to the composite grade for its exceptional aesthetic presentation. The overall rating of MINT 9 puts this Jackie single in an elite class of two.
The other MINT 9 highest graded Jackie Robinson single signed baseball was recently sold in our 2013 Fall Premier auction for $104765.
