ADDENDUM: There are 11 Hall of Fame signatures on this baseball rather than 9 as stated in the catalog.

This Official American League (Cronin) baseball has to be one of the nicest multi-signed old-timers baseballs we’ve ever seen, an absolutely impeccable example in simply superb condition. That may be a reflection of its provenance, coming as it does from the personal collection of great Yankee relief pitcher and major league executive Johnny Murphy. To find a Cronin ball preserved so perfectly for so many decades is inspiring. It boasts 11 Hall of Famers liberally sprinkled among a lineup of 23 signatures, virtually each and every one a blazing bold ballpoint beauty that jumps off the still-white spheroid. Beau Belle, a pretty fair country ballplayer in his own right and a 1937 All-Star, may have been so excited to be rubbing elbows – and autographs – with such an august group that he went ahead and signed the ball twice. Hall of Famers Charlie Gehringer and Lefty Grove signed on the sweet spot and fellow immortal Hank Greenberg is on the opposite side directly above the Joe Cronin AL President stamping. And neatly divided between the four panels: Earl Averill, Belle (2), Clift, Cronin, Dickey, Joe DiMaggio, Feller, Rick Ferrell, Wes Ferrell, Gomez, Moses, Murphy, Myer, Rolfe, Sewell, Stratton and West. The baseball is encased in a clear plastic display cube and original box.

Includes Letter of Provenance from the Murphy Family.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
