This lot features the Washington Hall of Stars induction ring awarded to Baseball Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew for his outstanding play early in his career for the then-Washington Senators. During his first seven MLB seasons of playing in the nations capital Killebrew launched 84 of his career 573 home runs. The top of ring features a red stone with "Washington" at top and "Hall of Stars" below. Relief of the Capitol building can be seen on one side with an athlete with upraised arms featured on the other. Stamped on the inside of the ring is "HARMON KILLEBREW. Ring size: 11 3/4.
