By 1990 Fleer had become a powerhouse in the card game for nearly half a decade and wasn’t showing any signs of slowing down.
With the 1990s being considered one of the golden ages of basketball the card hobby was only increasing in popularity. Offered here are (4) 1990 Fleer Basketball “5th Year Anniversary Edition” wax boxes with (36) unopened wax packs in each.
This is an underrated eye pleasing set. Simple in their elegance. Dozens of stars and future Hall of Famers are included from a time when Michael Jordan was about to take the baton from Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.
Many other stars have delightful cards in this set including Charles Barkley Hakeem Olajuwan David Robinson Shawn Kemp Tim Hardaway just to name a few. Plus many other fun cards of then-players who are now coaches executives or broadcasters for the league.
The boxes present in great condition and the wax packs all look untouched and fresh. The packs also have a chance of including limited edition All-Star cards only increasing the temptation to open them.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
