Single game worn sneakers from two of the most prolific scorers in the history of professional basketball. "The Iceman" George Gervin and Bernard King both Hall of Famers have certainly supplanted their names in the lore of ABA and NBA record books. And the mystique of what could have been--one somewhat lost in competing pro leagues and the other stalled due to injury--further adds to each of their legacies.

"The Iceman" George Gervin was one of the true giants in the American Basketball Association prior to the 1976 merger with the NBA captivating fans first for the Virginia Squires and San Antonio Spurs and finally at the conclusion of his career with the Chicago Bulls. Gervin averaged at least 14 points per game in all 14 of his ABA and NBA seasons and finished with an NBA career average of 26.2 points per game. Inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1996 Gervin is widely regarded to be one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history; he also has the distinction of having been a teammate with both Julius Erving and Michael Jordan. Gervin has signed this handsome Size 14 Nike Air white leather left shoe in black marker on the outside of the ankle with the message "To Bill George Gervin Ice #44" around the Swoosh graphic. The shoe shows some game use but with all elements intact and largely as-issued with only the slightest discoloration of the shoestrings. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bill Ficke.

A 2013 inductee into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Bernard King was an explosive scorer in a 14-year NBA career that featured four All-Star appearances and an NBA scoring crown in 1985. Knee problems forced King into retirement ending with 19655 points in 874 games for an average of 22.5 points per game. At the time of his retirement King ranked 16th on the all-time NBA scoring list. King has signed in blue Sharpie on the outside of this left Converse shoe near the top directly beneath the "B King" gold stamping adding the inscription "Best Wishes". The shoe displays obvious game use and remains with all elements intact and largely as-issued.

Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from renowned shoe collector Bill Ficke.
