In 1991 former major leaguer Gene Tenace served as a coach for the Toronto Blue Jays and also as a coach for the American League squad at that years Mid-Summer Classic in Toronto. The date was July 9 and the A.L. All-Stars bested their N.L. counterparts 4-2. This lot includes the All-Star ring that Tenace was awarded for his participation. The size 12 ring features a blue stone and a faux diamond on the face with Balfour Auralite stamping inside the band with the words "BASEBALL All-STAR 1991" circling the stone. The ring is made of an exclusive yellow metal with silver gold and palladium (in the platinum family) its luster is uniquely matched by its durability. It includes the American League logo on one side of the band with the Blue Jays logo and TORONTO 91 All-Star Game on the other.
