The Oakland A's captured their third consecutive World Series title in 1974 establishing Major League Baseball's first dynasty of the 70s. Catfish Hunter earned the Cy Young Award for his 25-win performance and Rollie Fingers would claim World Series MVP honors for his one win and two clutch saves in the "Fall Classic." Offered here is the 14K gold championship ring that was awarded to A's starting first baseman Gene Tenace. The size 10 ring manufactured by Jostens is crowned by a green stone inlaid with the "A's" logo. Surrounding this are the words "WORLD CHAMPIONS" in raised lettering. One of the ring's shanks has a clover design with the years of the three-peat "72 - 73 - 74" and the equation "S + S = S." On the other shank is an "A's" baseball sandwiched top to bottom with "OAKLAND" and "TENACE." Tenace added real diamonds to the center stone. Condition-wise the ring shows almost no apparent wear. Player rings and coaches' rings from the '74 championship team are extremely rare with this being an especially high grade example.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from Gene Tenace.
